Our Story
Azon started in 1977 with a simple idea: make buildings more energy efficient. Born during the energy crisis, Azon quickly became a trusted partner of fenestration manufacturers who needed serious thermal solutions, not off-the-shelf products. What began as a response to that crisis has grown into global leadership in Pour and Debridge thermal barrier solutions, built on continuous advances in chemistry, machinery, and hands-on service.
That approach still defines us. We work side-by-side with customers, step into their production challenges, and engineer the materials and machinery that help them improve performance.
Today our R&D lab is a hub of polyurethane innovation, powering solutions that reach far beyond our roots in aluminum fenestration. Our chemists and engineers develop thermal barrier technologies, concrete repair and waterproofing grouts, and advanced encapsulation materials for LED lighting and electronics.
No matter the industry, our formula stays the same: stay curious, collaborate deeply, and create solutions that deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, and durability.
Azon remains what it has always been. A partner. A problem-solver. And a team committed to helping customers build better products. Employee-owned and headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, that commitment runs through everything we do.
