Building Maintenance Techician
The Building Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for Azon facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic maintenance and repair of the facilities, including interior, exterior, as well as some HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work
- Knowledge of motors and pumps
- Regular PM’s of manufacturing equipment
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
- May assist with grounds maintenance such as mowing and snow removal
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Related experience is required
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of general carpentry
- Ability to use hand tools and small power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid Michigan driver’s license is required
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crouch
- Must be able to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds at a time
