Chemical Sales Representative - Industrial Grout Products
Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenue and market share for specialty chemical grout products through direct sales, distributor development, and strategic market expansion. This role requires experience in chemical manufacturing, chemical grouts, construction chemicals, waterproofing, or infrastructure rehabilitation. The ideal candidate combines technical product knowledge with strong business development and channel management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with distributors, contractors, engineers, municipalities, and infrastructure owners.
- Expand distributor networks and channel partnerships.
- Conduct product presentations, technical training, and job site support.
- Provide technical guidance on grout applications including leak sealing, soil stabilization, void filling, slab lifting, and waterproofing.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activities.
- Attend industry trade shows and maintain brand awareness in the grout market
Qualifications
- Preferred 3 years of sales experience in chemical manufacturing, chemical grouts, construction chemicals, or related industries.
- Proven success in business development, territory management, and distributor sales.
- Strong understanding of polyurethane, hydrophobic, hydrophilic, acrylate, and epoxy grout technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
- Up to 50% Travel
