Sales Representative
Azon is a world leader in technology used in the manufacture of thermally efficient aluminum window, storefront, curtain wall and specialty chemical products. Azon is headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan with operations in the United States, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Representative for our concrete repair and chemical application product specialties.
We are seeking a motivated professional to support the business development process with specialty polyurethane applications. Building technical competencies and working effectively with cross-functional teams internally and within the customer base.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage projects for various work environments, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to individual customer requests.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Engineering, and Chemical Production teams to ensure alignment and execution of projects.
- Identify new market opportunities by developing and presenting strategic recommendations that align with Azon’s core competencies.
- Provide clear and timely project status updates, including progress milestones, measurable outcomes, and key performance metrics.
- Support end-to-end sales activities by sourcing leads, cultivating customer relationships, recognizing key stakeholders, and delivering valuable input for commercial solutions.
- Develop customer value propositions based on a deep understanding of customer processes and sound financial principles.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, and project management
- Bachelor’s degree in relative field preferred
- Requires up to 50% domestic travel and occasional international travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an active passport
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-driven mindset
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Basic financial and business acumen to support proposals and value discussions
