Azon is announcing the launch of AzoCap™ CLR 180, a clear polyurethane electrical encapsulation compound that gels in three minutes, bringing optical clarity to one of the fastest-curing encapsulation systems on the market. AzoCap CLR 180 is the newest addition to the AzoCap line, two years in development and refined in a high-volume production environment.

Most electrical encapsulation compounds are a production bottleneck waiting to happen. Long gel times, unpredictable cure windows, lines that stop and wait for chemistry to catch up. It’s a frustration many manufacturers have simply learned to live with.

AzoCap gels in minutes and cures to a tough, flexible polyurethane that protects sensitive electronics from moisture, vibration, thermal cycling, dirt and debris and with strong adhesion to the substrates assemblies are already built on.

Now we are adding clear. AzoCap CLR 180 brings the same proven three-minute performance to applications where optical visibility matters: LED lighting assemblies, automotive electronics, industrial controls or anywhere you need to see what you’re protecting.
